WAVERLEY Borough Council is asking local companies, shop owners and traders to complete its 2018 survey.

The survey is a chance for businesses to give their views on how the council can ensure it offers the right support and runs the best projects to benefit the local economy.

The findings will help the council plan future work to support local businesses to grow and prosper.

The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete and responses are confidential.

All completed surveys will be put into a draw for the chance to win a £100 shopping voucher.

Haslemere councillor Jim Edwards, portfolio holder for economic and community development, said: “Waverley’s business sector is an integral part of our borough; local businesses are at the heart of the community, they create jobs for local people, drive the local economy and enrich our residents’ lives.

“This is an opportunity for local business to shape the borough and take their future into their own hands,” Mr Edwards added.

“We need to know what local businesses think and want to help develop not only their business – but the shaping and prosperity of our beautiful borough.”
