WAVERLEY Borough Council’s small business advisory event, aimed at start-up and expanding businesses across the borough, has been confirmed for April 12 next year at The Georgian House Hotel in Haslemere.

The event, arranged jointly with Enterprise First, was to have been held earlier this year, but it was rescheduled to allow more time for publicity.

Experts will be on hand to answer questions on a range of topics, including accountancy and tax, finance, business rates, environmental health, legal issues, licensing, and marketing, focusing on websites and social media, planning, training and apprenticeships.

Haslemere Chamber of Trade will be represented at the event, and several members will be helping to provide expert answers. The free event runs from 6pm to 7.30pm. A buffet with drinks will be available from 5.45pm.
