Thieves stole a large quantity of cigarettes and vapes during an early morning break-in at a convenience store in Liss last weekend.

Other items were stolen after three people broke into the Premier shop on Hill Brow Road around 1.30am on Saturday, April 6.

Police have launched an appeal for witnesses, CCTV or dashcam footage as no suspects have yet been identified.

Meanwhile, police investigating a spate of vandalism in Petersfield town centre on Easter Sunday in which signs, lampposts and trees were damaged have confirmed that suspects have been identified and will be interviewed.

Sergeant Paul Rees told the Petersfield Annual Town Assembly on Wednesday (April 10) that a plan is in place to deal with the vandals in a “robust fashion” and “put right the harm they’ve done”.
