Who’s Line is it Anyway presenter Clive Anderson handed Haslemere Museum supporter Graeme Nuttall OBE a prestigious prize and cash award that he has used to benefit the museum.

When Mr Nuttall, a partner at European law firm Fieldfisher, received an award for services to employee share ownership at the ProShare Annual Awards ceremony last year, it entitled him to nominate a charity to receive a ShareGift donation and he chose the museum.

The £5,000 donation has been used to upgrade the museum’s IT equipment and software, and to promote its collections to a wider audience.

Museum curator Julia Tanner said: “I would like to extend our deepest thanks to Graeme Nuttall, ProShare and ShareGift for this generous donation, allowing us to purchase much needed IT equipment.

“As an independent charity, we greatly rely on our supporters and donations are a tremendous help.

“They enable us to continue our service to the

public and help see the museum safeguarded for

future generations.”
