JEWEL-LIKE embroideries are on show at Ramster Hall near Chiddingfold later this month.

Leading makers from across the UK will demonstrate their needlework talents in Ramster’s popular bi-annual embroidery and textile exhibition, which features more than 200 works of art.

Hall owner Miranda Gunn, who launched the first exhibition nearly 30 years ago, said: “The techniques employed in producing these beautiful works have now become far more diverse and complex.

“It is incredible just how much skill, dedication and patience is required to produce these amazing pieces of art.”

Visitors will also be treated to colourful displays of spring flowers, rhododendrons azaleas, camellias and magnolias in the 20-acre grounds.

• The exhibition is open from from Friday, March 10, until Sunday, March 26 (10am-5pm). For details visit www.ramsterevents.com.
