Farnham’s popular firework display and torchlit procession will return this Saturday hoping to raise tens of thousands for local causes.
The event organised by Farnham Round Table and sponsored by BakerLaw LLP will begin with the traditional torchlit procession, led by the Reading Scottish Piper Band, leaving Waggon Yard car park at 6pm before making its way through the town centre to Farnham Park.
Farnham Round Table chairman Ian Jacob said: "Farnham Fireworks is one of the highlights of our year, and it's fantastic to see the town come together to support such a brilliant event.
"We're incredibly proud of the difference the event makes to local good causes, from supporting families who are struggling to helping schools, youth groups and charities.
“It takes a huge amount of work from our members and volunteers to put on an event of this scale, and we'd love to see as many people as possible joining us on Saturday for what promises to be another fantastic evening."
Tickets and procession torches must be booked in advance online at www.farnhamfireworks.com.
There will be no cash sales on the gate, and numbers of flaming torches are limited.
