UNDERSHAW, the Hindhead home of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, could be turned into flats if a rescue bid fails.
Although an appeal was launched earlier this year to turn the Grade II Listed building into a visitor centre focusing on the 19th Century author, the future of the building is still uncertain with the house in a dilapidated state.
