LIPHOOK and District Businessmen’s Association (LiDBA) held its annual Quiz Night at the Millennium Centre.

The questions set by quizmasters Chris and Carol Meech and followed the format of various

popular TV quiz shows. Participants enjoyed food and drinks half through the evening and there was also prize draw. Pond Life – Peter and Peta Etherton and Paul and Clare Phillips – from Frensham Pond Sailability won.

LiDBA is grateful for the support it received from their partners, as well as from Peter and Ed Lawrance, of Crystal Hire Ltd, who supplied all catering and bar equipment free of charge. Proceeds will be distributed to charities including: Bramshott Educational Trust, Conford Village Hall, Dreams Come True, Frensham Pond Sailability, Homestart Hollywater, Liphook and Ripsley Cricket Club, Lynchmere Cricket Club, Liphook In Bloom, Liphook Village Hall, The Peak Day Centre and Petersfield Society for Special Needs. TLC donated the money it raised to Furniture Helpline.
