IT was all hands on deck on Sunday (August 18) in a final push to get Haslemere Youth Hub on track for its grand opening on Saturday, September 7 from 10am to 3pm.
In a whirl of activity to transform the former Wey Centre next to Wey Hill Fairground car park into a buzzing new facility, 24 volunteers got stuck in from 9.30am until late.
More than 30 youth-orientated users have signed up to operate from the Waverley Borough Council-owned building now revamped, thanks to new managers Nadeana Simpson-Hadden and Karen Musco, who have run Street Nation Dance School there for nine years.
