GIRL GUIDING members from Liphook, Headley, Bordon, Liss and Petersfield Districts joined together for a fun filled day at the Petersfield Division’s Go Wild Activity Day.

Around 250 girls aged five to 17, as well as their leaders, had an action packed day at Guiding campsite Herons Wey, in Tilford, near Farnham, where they enjoyed activities which included grass sledging, bouldering, kayaking, archery, takin gon an assault course, a spot of grass head crafts and orienteering.

The also had the opportunity to work with Haslemere Museum to create a mosaic from recycled materials, which will go on display in the museum along with work by other community groups.

Girl guiding members enjoy many activities throughout the year, but none more so that getting outside into the great outdoors.

Girlguiding has something for all girls from five years upwards.
