SUPPORTERS of Haslemere Hospital have welcomed proposals put forward by NHS Surrey to enhance services at community hospitals.
Under the plans announced in last week's NHS Surrey board meeting, 24-hour consultant-led inpatient care, rapid assessment centres, diagnostic tests and urgent care could all be based at four "community hubs", including Haslemere and Farnham hospitals.
