HASLEMERE is set for a a new allotment site after the town council agreed to restore an old Second World War Dig for Victory field in Grayswood.

At a meeting of Haslemere Town Council last week, councillors unanimously voted to return the field at Clammer Hill to its original use as an allotment site.
