It is lights out for one house in Liphook after a three-month closure order has been issued for an address in Edmonton Way in Liphook.

The house has been boarded up following anti-social behaviour including consistent noise and late-night disturbances, reported drug dealing and disorderly behaviour towards residents.

The local Neighbourhood Policing Team have been working with residents and the local housing association (Home Group) over the last year to address ASB at the address, including consistent noise and late-night disturbances, reported drug dealing and disorderly behaviour towards residents.

Sgt Noel Griffiths said: “The behaviour exhibited at this address has disrupted people’s lives and caused ongoing distress to neighbours.

"The issuing of this closure order is a great result and should help make life better for the people living here.“I am grateful to the local community for their help and patience.

"I encourage anyone affected by anti-social behaviour to continue to report this to the police, the local council or their housing provider so it can be dealt with.”
