SURREY Police were called out to a National Trust area of woodland next to Tower Road on the A287, in Hindhead, in the early hours of Sunday morning, where they found the body of a 37-year-old man.
The alarm was raised at 4.30am by a member of the public.
Officers attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A police spokesman said: "His death is being treated as non-suspicious and there is no indication of any third party involvement. The matter is now with the coroner."
