ALTON Morris presented breast cancer charity Walk the Walk with a cheque for £126.86 at its weekly practice in Alton.
The dancers held a collection when they danced at the Blackmoor Apple Tasting Day in October.
Alton Morris treasurer Brian Good said: “We are delighted to support such a great cause. It was so exciting to be able to perform again and the crowds at Blackmoor were very enthusiastic and generous, and we can’t thank them enough.”
Walk the Walk fundraiser Jan Treacher-Evans added: “We thank Alton Morris and their supporters for this much needed donation. Since June last year, Walk the Walk has been making emergency grants to charities on the front line of cancer, to ensure that they survive the pandemic and can continue to support people living with breast cancer.”
