FATHER Christmas, Bold Slasher, the Dragon and King George were just some of the colourful cast of characters performing in the Haslemere Mummers’ annual play staged at Haslemere Museum on Saturday.

The group donated all the proceeds from their traditional entertainment to the museum and also staged a second show just up the road outside Haslemere Town Hall.

Museum curator Julia Tanner said: “The Haslemere Mummers perform at the museum every year and everyone always looks forward to it. All donations are to the museum and it is so wonderful that they carry on this tradition.”
