OPPOSITION is growing over plans to build five new homes in Beacon Hill following the demolition of a once-popular pub in the village, after Waverley Borough Council officers recommended this week that the proposals be given the green light.
A development company has resubmitted its proposals for a mix of two and three-bedroom houses at the third-of-an-acre site of The Woodcock public house which closed its doors more than a year ago.
