SURREY Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist sadly died in an incident near Milford Station just after midday on Sunday, May 20.

The man, aged in his 50s, came off his bicycle on Station Lane close to the station

The road was closed in both directions while staff from South East Coast Ambulance and the Kent Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance tried to revive him. Sadly he passed away at the scene. His family have been informed.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the cyclist come off his bike, or seen him in the moments immediately before the incident. They do not, at this time, believe any other vehicles were involved.
