The force say it was part of ongoing effort by neighbourhood policing teams across East Hampshire promoting crime prevention advice about burglary, particularly “non-dwelling burglaries” affecting rural areas.
Chief Inspector Beth Pirie said: “These are an invaluable opportunity for our local communities to raise concerns they may have about burglary, especially in rural areas.
“While burglary levels have remained low in East Hampshire over the last year, we recognise that it is an ongoing area of concern for local residents, especially when the theft of specialised items like machinery in rural locations can have a significant impact for victims.”
