THE sale of Haslemere police station will now go ahead after Surrey Police Authority members agreed a bid for the West Street building at its meeting on Monday.

A police post in the Waverley Borough Council office in Weyhill is expected to open this summer. The authority also considered bids for five other former stations – Cranleigh, Dorking, Epsom, Chertsey and Horley.
