EAST Hampshire MP Damian Hinds has been tipped for the top as speculation mounted the current Employment Minister could be rewarded with a Cabinet post in any reshuffle carried out by Prime Minister Theresa May, after the New Year Parliamentary recess.

Hinds, the MP for Liphook and Grayshott, who was promoted as a Minister back in July 2016, is definitely one of the Conservative’s rising stars having also impressed as a junior minister at the Treasury after the Conservatives’ General Election win in May 2015.

Hinds, who graduated with a first-clases degree at Oxford – where he was also president of the historic Oxford Union in the early 1990s – before working in the pubs and hotels industry. The father of three became an MP in 2010.

In his New Year message, Mr Hinds, 48, described East Hampshire as a ‘fantastic place to work’.
