THE lives of the Stone Age and Iron Age people were experienced by St Ives School girls from years three and four when they visited Butser Ancient Farm, the reconstructed site in Hampshire.

Throughout the day the girls took part in practical activities from these periods in history, including making cord and learning the art of Celtic wall making. They also investigated what an archaeological dig involves.
