BRITPOP icons Sleeper, who enjoyed huge critical and commercial success in the mid-1990s with well over a million sales, are signed up to close the first night of Haslemere Fringe Festival.
Band members are Louise Wener, Jon Stewart, Andy Maclure and Kieron Pepper, previously of The Prodigy.
Sleeper had two tracks featured on the era-defining movie Trainspotting, named as one of the best film soundtracks of all time.
Their album SMART, which featured the hit Inbetweener, is 25 years old this year and Sleeper have re-issued it to celebrate a benchmark year, together with their new album, The Modern Age.
Sleeper has played the main stages of Reading and Glastonbury, along with a sell-out tour of the UK in 2019.
The hugely-popular biennial festival on Lion Green runs from Friday, July 3 to Sunday, July 5.
Haslemere Fringe Festival 2020 is proud to support The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice as official charity partner.
