WINTERSHALL, a privately-owned farm and park in the Surrey countryside, is staging The Life of Christ from June 21 to June 25 from 10am to 3.30pm.

Peter and Ann Hutley have lived there for more than 50 years. The Life of Christ was written and adapted from the Bible by Peter in 1999 to mark the new millennium. It will be directed by West End theatre producer and director Ashley Herman.

James Burke-Dunsmore will play Jesus for the final time. He specialises in large-scale outdoor theatre and has been involved with Wintershall’s plays since 1998.

He leads a cast of more than 100 dedicated volunteers, dressed in full costume, in this moving and authentic re-enactment of the remarkable events of Jesus’ life.
