HASLEMERE Town Council has organised two open meetings for the public next month where they can meet the mayor and councillors and find out about what’s happening in their area.

The first meeting will be for Shottermill and Critchmere residents at Haslewey, on Saturday, October 1, from 5pm. Topics include finding out about new council projects and residents’ concerns and letting them have their say, plus talking to ward councillors, and finding out what projects the public would like to see happen in the town.

There will also be updates on the play park and Christmas carols event. The second meeting will be for Hindhead ward, at the village’s Royal British Legion branch, on Tuesday, October 4.

There will be discussions on ‘Saving Our Village’, ‘Keeping Our Shops’ and ‘Improving Our Parking’.
