NEW ideas to transform Wey Hill Fairground into a new town centre were generated at a brainstorming session on the common land site hosted by Haslemere Vision. The "Wow Hill" scheme for a piazza-style mixed development has already been proposed. Suggested additions to the mix included an arts amphitheatre and even a Haslemere Spa Water Company to capitalise on nearby Wey Springs. For full story, see this week's Haslemere Herald.
