Twelve Farnham Runners took on the Gibbet Hill 10km on a very warm evening.

Organised by Haslemere Border AC, the route was mostly dry with just a few small muddy patches.

Tim Naylor was seventh overall and fourth senior man in 41.17. Next came second M60 Terry Copland in 52.17, followed by Gemma Whitehouse in 53.00. Justin Clarke was third M60, Linda Tyler first F60 and Bridget Naylor third F60.

After some good performances in the June Yateley 10km, eight Farnham Runners ran the second event on a warm evening in July.

Joe Collins was tenth overall and sixth senior man in 35.59, while Lizzie May was sixth lady and fourth in the senior ladies’ category. Mark Maxwell and Guy Hines-Dedman made up the scoring team, which placed sixth out of 20 clubs. Jane Georghiou was first F65.

The final event took place on a cooler evening and 13 Farnham Runners took part. Joe Collins was 14th overall in 36.01. Guy Hines-Dedman clocked a personal best 42.55 with Mark Maxwell next on chip time but ahead on gun time. Gemma Whitehouse was 15th lady in a personal best 45.15 and won the first F45 prize for the series.

Linda Tyler was first F65 in 46.04 and Jane Georghiou was first F65 for the series.

Tim Naylor finished third in the 60km Ultra X Wales in the Brecon Beacons.

Four Farnham Runners tackled the multi-terrain Harting 10, organised by Liss Runners. Joe Collins won the event in 1:01.24. Guy Hines-Dedman, Lindsay Bamford and Jane Allen also completed the scenic course.

Candy Waller finished third lady in the Bedford Autodrome marathon in 3:53.34. Sue Taylor was 11th lady and first in her age category in the half marathon, while Georgie Abrook completed the 20-miler.
