FARNHAM TN 1, HARTLEY WINTNEY 3
HARTLEY Wintney scored three times in the space of five minutes to break Farnham’s resistance and reach the Aldershot FA Senior Cup final.
Farnham gave a disciplined performance at the Memorial Ground and it took a controversial goal on 53 minutes to give The Row the lead, Dean Stow’s strike having more than a hint of offside.
Two minutes later, Luke Perkins set up Sam Argent who calmly made it 2-0. Soon after the restart, it was all over as Argent seized on a weak backpass to shoot past Richard Ossai.
Farnham’s late consolation goal came from a penalty, with Stan Staines scoring from the spot.
Hartley Wintney will meet Fleet Town in the final, to be played at Aldershot Town’s ground next Wednesday (May 10), kick-off 7.45pm.
