THE A286 Haslemere Road between Brook and Witley was the scene of a fatal traffic accident just after 11am this morning, Tuesday November 21.

A male driver sadly died after the blue Alfa Romeo collided with a wall. His family have been informed.

South East Coast Ambulance Service and Surrey Fire and Rescue service assisted police but the motorist died at the scene of the single vehicle collision.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area and may have witnessed the vehicle, or its manner of driving before the collision, to contact Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference P17293185.
