Surrey Police has issued descriptions of two teenage boys wanted after a vandalism rampage in Farnham town centre last weekend.

Almost a dozen town centre properties – businesses and homes – were targeted between 4am and 6am last Sunday (September 25).

Farnham Maltings saw a number of its glass panels at its entrance smashed, leaving the registered charity and arts venue with a £5,000 clean-up bill.

The first suspect has been described as a white male in his teens, around 5’8” tall, of average build with short, cropped mousy brown hair. He was wearing a blue jacket with a puffa style body and a different shade to the arms.

The second suspect has also been described as a white male, in his teens, around 5’8” tall, of slim build with dark cropped wavy style hair. He was wearing a black long sleeve top, blue jeans, black footwear and glasses.

Clear CCTV of the suspects has been obtained by the police, but the force says it is unable to release any images or footage as the offenders are believed to be minors.

Waverley’s borough police commander, Inspector Adcock, has also asked that no images of the suspects are circulated on social media.

Sergeant Michael Knight, from the Farnham Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We will not tolerate this anti-social behaviour and reckless vandalism.

“Farnham is a beautiful town with character and history. The extent and cost of the damage will significantly impact those targeted for some time.

“We are appealing to anyone who has any information to please get in touch.”
