TWO teenagers from Midhurst and a Godalming teenager have pleaded guilty to assaulting another teenage girl with a crowbar at a Guildford park last year.

Sophie Burrows, 19, from Godalming, Lauren Coveney, 19, from Midhurst and a 17-year-old girl from the same town, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were charged with causing grievous bodily harm on July 9, last year, at Guildford Crown Court, on Monday

A 14-year-old girl was left with a head injury, a slight fracture to the nose, bruised ribs and two black eyes following the incident, which took place at Stoughton recreation ground in Northway around 7pm.

The girls will be sentenced on Friday, February 17.
