REHEARSALS are in full swing for Haslemere’s New Christmas Cracker which is being performed at Haslemere Hall, on Saturday December 19, at 7.30pm.

The family show marks the real beginning of the festive season in the town and this year the event has been re-styled and the programme revised, although many of the long-established favourites will be retained.

A massed choir will sing new and traditional carols with contributions from children of St Bartholomew’s School.

With trumpets and a harp adding to the celebrations, comic verse and seasonal readings will also be included.
