TIME is running out for daredevils and adrenalin junkies at the ready to take on a mammoth abseil of a lifetime, from one of Scotland’s best-loved landmarks.
A team of fearless fundraisers will take one giant leap from the top of the iconic Forth Rail Bridge which towers 165ft above the fast-flowing Firth of the Forth river.
Dog charity Canine Partners is calling for people to face their fears and sign up for the epic SAS-style freefall abseil from the 127-year-old UNESCO World Heritage Site structure.
It costs £20 to take part and participants are asked to raise a minimum of £200 through sponsorship.
Any money raised will help the charity continue training its assistance dogs which are taught to carry out a range of tasks including picking up dropped items, loading and unloading washing machines, dressing and undressing a person and fetching help in an emergency. For more information about Canine Partners or to sign up, call Dale Gormley on 0845 481 1915 or visit www.caninepartners.org.uk
