WAVERLEY's county councillors have
criticised proposed changes to Surrey's fire service they say will create dangers for the borough's rural areas.
At last week's meeting of the Waverley Local Committee, councillors said the proposed public safety plan would make it "impossible" for firefighters to respond to rural incidents within a new 10-minute target time.
