HASLEMERE skatepark will host a free skate, BMX and scooter workshop for fans aged seven to 16, next month.
Waverley Borough Council’s annual workshops at each skate park in the borough are an opportunity to be coached by the pros and show off new skills.
The next one takes place on Thursday, August 10, from 10am-4pm, .
Jenny Else, portfolio holder for health, wellbeing and culture, said: “The skatepark workshops are always very popular and this year’s events promise to be no exception.
“The sessions are a chance for those with little to no experience to learn some basic skills.
“Professional skaters, BMXers and scooter riders will be on hand to give tuition, advice and inspire.
“There will be opportunities to have a go on a ramp, try out some tricks and get rolling.

Pre-booking is not necessary but those aged under 16 must have a parent or guardian complete a permission form before taking part. Forms can be downloaded or picked up on the day.
