Chiddfest music festival returned once again to Chiddingfold and it was a big success.

The event raised £16,000 for various charities including St Mary's C of E Primary School, local youth sport and other community services within the area. More than 1,300 tickets were sold for the popular event which runs every two years.

This year saw the introduction of DJs for the very first time with Woody Cook headlining with performances by solo artists Anouska Assisi and Will Jones, bands Laurel Canyon and Mission Impossible and jazz duo Verity Toulson and Joseph Leighton.

An organiser said: “As the sun turned golden and the DJs started their sets, the crowd danced and there was an electric energy - old friends, new friends with children having the time of their lives.”

There were also inflatables, bug experiences, glitter hair and sport sessions hosted by local youth teams. Plenty of food was available to munch on thanks to a variety of street-food vendors featuring sushi, pizza, burgers, Indian, ice cream, waffles and more.

Make sure to mark down May 2026 so you don’t miss out on the next Chiddfest for a day of fun with the entire family and to support the community.
