SHOTTERMILL Junior School enjoyed its annual Christmas feast and the chance of every pupil to make it the best one yet. Headteacher Kate Barnes said: “The children made Christmas-themed table decorations to enter into a competition and a winner was chosen from each class,”

“The whole staff entered into the Christmas spirit as well and served the traditional turkey lunch to almost all of our 290 children. We all had a terrific time pulling crackers and singing Christmas songs throughout.”

Pupils also staged their own production A Midwife Crisis before the start of the Christmas break.
