AN APPEAL to raise £100,000 to fund an improved meeting space has been launched by St Alban’s Church, Hindhead.

St Alban’s Hall is currently home to two dance schools, Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, Pilates sessions, a toddler group, a lunch club and karate.

The £100,000 ‘Link Project’ will expand and improve the facilities by joining together the church and hall, providing new toilets, renovating the grounds and creating better access.

Building works will be undertaken by Beacon Hill Construction Ltd working to a design by Andrew Stainsby of Stainsby Architect Ltd.

St Alban’s vicar, The Rev Richard Bodle, said: “We are really excited by these new developments, which will enable St Alban’s to continue being a place that brings people together.
