SOUTH West Surrey Compass Group will hold its next meeting on Saturday, March 12, at the Unitarian Church Hall in Godalming.

The main issue for discussion will again be housing issues with presentations regarding the Housing Bill by Islington councillor James Murray and Mark Constable of Waverley Borough Council.

There will also be discussion on other issues including the local transport review for which the consultation period ends on Monday (March 14).

Doors to the church hall in Meadrow, Godalming will open at 9.30am for coffee and croissants ahead of a 10am start and 12.30pm finish. Everybody is welcome.

South West Surrey Compass is part of a national organisation that describes itself as “the home for everyone who wants to be part of a much more equal, democratic and sustainable future”.

It comprises members of Labour, Green and the Lib Dems, as well as many who are progressive-minded but belong to no political party.
