THE equivalent of 30 full-time jobs may have to go at Waverley Borough Council in the coming financial year, as the council bids to trim its budget and lessen the pain for council tax payers.

While Waverley's grant from the Government will be increased by only £31,000, the council is being hammered financially on all fronts by the credit crisis.
