A trio of alleged dog snatchers have appeared in court accused of stealing two cocker spaniel puppies.

Ann Mahon, 40, Joseph Lowe, 18, and a 15-year-old girl who cannot be named for legal reasons, are accused of taking the puppies belonging to a Farnham woman on June 19, 2022.

All three defendants live in Woodley near Wokingham and appeared at Staines Magistrates’ Court for an initial hearing on Friday, June 30.

They have not yet entered a plea and were sent to Guildford Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on Monday, July 31.
