SHOTTERMILL Junior School pupils enjoyed a 170-strong outing to the Royal Albert Hall for Music For Youth’s Primary Proms.

Headteacher Kate Barnes told The Herald: “Shottermill Junior was by far the largest school in the audience and we thoroughly enjoyed the Music For Youth production, which featured musicians of the highest calibre aged between eight and 18 years,”

“Our children also had a fantastic experience walking through Hyde Park, visiting the Diana Memorial Fountain on our way to the venue.

“The look on their faces as they entered the most famous concert hall in the country was priceless.”
