The u3a is expecting to dive into some deep conversation with speaker David Parry.
On January 8, 2024 at 2pm David Parry will be hosting a talk in Haslemere Hall on Perisher: 100 Years of How To Be A Submarine Captain.
Perisher is the nickname given to the Royal Navy’s Submarine Command Course.
The course has stood the test of time for more than 100 years and developed a reputation as being the most demanding command course in the military.
