A SURREY Police detective based at the Mount Browne HQ, in Guildford, was summonsed for an offence of common assault, following an incident in Pinner, north-west London, on April 9.

Detective Sergeant Prabh Sohi was charged by the Metropolitan Police Service and appeared at Hendon Magistrates Court, on Monday.

She pleaded not guilty and will now stand trial at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on January 5, after being granted bail on condition that she does not have any contact with the alleged victim.
