CAMELSDALE Primary School has three reasons to celebrate at the start of 2016.

The school has opened its new bespoke early years area which provides an additional outdoor classroom for its youngest children.

Designed to compliment its “Forest School” approach to teaching and learning, it has been created by Fernhurst-based Valley Landscapes and funded through grants, donations and West Sussex Council. The school is also proud at being awarded The International Schools’ Award for the third time for its work on global citizenship as well as the new “Governor Mark” which reflects the effectiveness of governance of the school.

Head Sarah Palmer said: “We are delighted to be celebrating these three things at Camelsdale.

“The school strives to ever improve and the whole school community has worked very hard on these areas of the school. Camelsdale thrives on teamwork and a big thank-you must go to everyone who has made them happen.”
