The MAD Company of Liphook is taking to the stage once again, delighting local audiences with their annual pantomime at their home The Millennium Centre.

The show this year is Dick Whittington, and the curtain rises for this family friendly show on Friday, February 17, with four shows over the weekend.

Join the company and cheer on Dick as he travels to London to seek his fortune.

As with any great Panto the path never ever runs smoothly and Dick certainly encounters problems along the way.

Come along and join Dick in his adventures to find his fortune in Old London Town.

But things never go to plan and Dick , his faithful companion Cassie the Magic Cat and his big-city friends go on a huge adventure to protect London and its citizens.

But will Dick ever become Lord Mayor of London ?

Can he rid London of those pesky rats and defeat King Rat ?

Can he bring peace and justice to London Town?

This family friendly show will entertain all ages, join in the fun boo, sing along and cheer helping the citizens of London Town.

Production spokesman Claire Fewings said: “All the cast, crew and our fantastic helpers have worked tirelessly to put on a fabulous show.

“But our lovely junior chorus are undoubtedly the stars of our show!”

The MAD Company was formed by the then Methodist Church minister and friends in 1991.

And for more than 30-years since then it has been entertaining the village, bringing some much needed joy to brighten any winters day.

Over the years, the company has been proud recipients of several accolades and awards.

And once again it has been awarded an Accolade of Excellence from NODA SE – The National Operatic and Drama Association Southeast District for their last show in 2022 – The Sleeping Beauty.

So all the cast and crew of Dick Whittington are working hard behind the scenes determined to keep up this level of excellence to put on another fantastic show.
