Musical comedy duo and sisters Flo and Joan are climbing out of their pits, armed with a piano and percussion section, to bring their new show Sweet Release to The Phoenix Theatre and Arts Centre in Bordon.
They have been seen on Live at the Apollo, The Royal Variety Performance, The Russell Howard Hour and Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club, online with 50 million views of their songs, and in Alive on Stage, their own special available on Amazon Prime.
Flo and Joan will be appearing on January 16 at 8pm. For tickets, priced £10, call 01420 472664 or email [email protected]
Andy Parsons will bring his Healing the Nation tour – rescheduled from July 15, 2021 – to the Phoenix on January 26 at 8pm.
He said: “I was in the middle of a UK tour when theatres had to close because of lockdown. It will turn out to be the longest tour ever, taking three years to complete, and as it’s gone on there’s been less healing and more of the opposite.
“So we have the ‘Serially rewritten Healing the Nation tour 2019-20 now extended into 2021-22 because of popular demand but also mainly lack of open theatres’. Yet this latest version of the show is my favourite so far.”
