The Duke of Cambridge pub in Tilford is bringing back its Festive Drive-In cinema experience this month.

The pub said it had an “overwhelming” surge of requests to bring back its popular drive-in for Christmas, adding it had become something of a new tradition for many of its customers.

And should the winter take a turn for the worse it hopes people may feel safer staying in their cars to get into the festive spirit rather than venturing out into public spaces.

Tickets, from £29.95 per vehicle, are on sale at https://www.dukeofcambridgetilford.co.uk/events/ where full listings can also be found.

The pub will be showing three classic festive movies per day from Saturday, December 18 through to Tuesday, December 21, at midday, 3.30pm and 7pm.

The films span eight decades of Christmas movie classics, from It’s A Wonderful Life and White Christmas all the way up to Home Alone and modern favourites Arthur Christmas and Elf.

A wide selection of food and drink will be available to buy contactless, using a menu QR code to order, and delivered directly to cars.
