The congregation of St Peter’s Church in Lynchmere took part in their annual Patronal Festival Evensong.

Vicar, The Reverend Nick Haigh, conducted the service. The choir – whose repertoire included arrangements by Rutter – was led by Sanda Belcher. The organist was Nick McMahon.

The sermon was given by the Dean of Chichester Cathedral, The Very Reverend Stephen Waine.

Following the service, a barbecue was held in the churchyard.

The event raised more than £1,000 for the Friends of St Peter’s.
