The charity supports more than 5,000 beneficiaries a year through a broad range of treatments by physiotherapists, exercise therapists and psychological therapists.
Mark was on duty at Grayshott Fire Station and suffered serious injuries when the fire engine hit a tree on Headley Road, near the Waggoner’s Wells turn off, while heading to a call-out in Alton.
Mark had to be cut out of the vehicle and airlifted to Southampton General Hospital, where he was treated for a dislocated pelvis and broken leg.
After receiving intensive care, he joined a severe rehabilitation programme at Harcombe House in Devon.
His family was also supported by the Firefighters Charity.
